Cardiff Fashion at LFW A/W12

We know it was almost a week ago now, it’s hard to believe it comes and goes so quickly! But we just wanted to share some images with you, of our time at London Fashion Week. We were lucky enough to get a bloggers pass, which we don’t take for granted because at the end of the day it’s a trade only show, and not everyone can get access.

Everyone is there for pretty much the same reason, to see and be seen in the greatest and most innovative fashion in the world and to celebrate the amazing creativity that exists in the UK. There’s been a general consensus in the press that this season British fashion designers have impressed and wowed audiences with their innovation, confidence, ingenuity and skill. Which can only be a good thing for an industry that has ambitious plans to grow and prosper.

We’re not quite influential enough (yet!) to get into some of the bigger shows, but it’s just a great experience seeing some of the up and coming designers, taking a look at the TopShop NewGen designers, and of course the fashion week street style. There were some people who were photographed every few steps, as they were stopped by eager photographers and bloggers (including us), trying to capture the essence and creativity that is part of LFW and the inimitable UK style.

A little star struck we saw Susie Bubble as she blogged in the press section (see pic below) and also the legendary Suzy Menkes OBE, Fashion Editor at the International Herald Tribune, formerly at The Times, NY Times, book author etc etc, who we went and spoke to and we even gave her one of our Cardiff Fashion business cards. You never know she might take a look at our blog!
